MESSAGE FROM THE ALTAR 28/02/2020
DEVOTIONAL SERVICE.

ARISE, O GOD.

PSALM 74: 18-22

18. Remember how the enemy insulted you, O Lord. Remember how an entire nation of godless fools despised your name.
19. Do not hand over the soul of your dove to wild animals. Do not forget the life of your oppressed people forever.
20. Consider your promise because every dark corner of the land is filled with violence.
21. Do not let oppressed people come back in disgrace. Let weak and needy people praise your name.
22. Arise, O God ! Fight for your own cause ! Remember how godless fools insult you all day long. (GOD’S WORD SERIES).
23. There is a catastrophe looming between now and the sixth month of the year that will pale into insignificance whatever we have experienced before now.
    There is a confederacy being cemented and monstrously equipped to unleash mayhem upon the defenceless and the innocent in the land.
    There is an abandonment of the citizenry to the viciousness of the assault of the invaders.
    There is despair in the land and the atmosphere of violence and insecurity turgid with trepidation.
    This rain of death must be averted. The confederacy must be broken into pieces and destroyed. Evil must not be allowed to triumph. The weaponry of the invaders must consume them.
    We must call on our God to arise and annihilate these godless monsters. Let God arise to defend His heritage.
    There is an urgent need to move the hand of God through the spiritual retreat into God’s presence for three days and three nights with fasting, as God gives you grace, starting from Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 4th March. Psalm 74:18-22 will be recited every morning and evening during this souls a saving and tragedy a averting exercise.
    Pray that God will expose the principal actors of the confederacy, clip their wings and render them impotent.
    Pray that God will deliver the captives, rain brimstones and fire to destroy the camps of the invaders.
    Pray that God will arise and judge the malefactors who are bent on unleashing pogrom in the land.
    Pray that God will turn their counsel to foolishness.
    Pray that the blood of God’s people must no more be shed on the satanic altar of the godless invaders.
    Pray for the safety of your household in these perilous times.
    Pray that God may comfort those that have suffered indignations and bereavement.
    Pray that the Omnipotent and Omniscient God will march you into your inheritance in this month of March.
    Pray that God will grant you enabling grace to effectively do the work of the evangelist.
    Pray further as the Holy Spirit gives you utterances.
    Our prayers of faith will indeed move the might of God for our deliverance and restoration, in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
    May God prosper us and deliver us from the insane callousness of these satanic agents masquerading under various platforms.

JUDGEMENT

GENESIS 4:10-12

Genesis 4:10
Then He said “what have you done?
Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground”!

You made him work without payment
Her hard labour unrecognized
The proletariat retrenched at your whims
Your atrocious caprices nauseating

You took what you don’t own
You took what you can’t give back
When you killed him
When you murdered her

Genesis 4:11
“Now you are cursed with alienation from the ground that opened it’s mouth to receive your brother’s blood you have shed”

You appropriated his dues, starving him
You eroded her confidence, demeaning her
You enchanted the masses, enslaving them
How pathetic, morally deficient your stinking opulence

You took away what you don’t own
You took what you can’t give back
When you killed him
When you murdered her

Genesis 4:12
” If you work the land, it will never again give you it’s yield. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth”

You destroyed him when you dispossess him
You murdered her when you took away her pride
You annihilated them when you put them in chains
You revelled in orgy of violence dehumanizing Divine images

You took what you don’t own
You took what you can’t give back
When you killed him
When you murdered her

And
Now, you are cursed, bereft of love
Insatiable, discontented, restless
Depraved, humourless and ugly
The embodiment of unfathomable misery

LIKE IN THE DAYS OF NOAH, WE MUST NOT BE UNPREPARED; LIKE THE FOOLISH VIRGINS IN THE PARABLE OF JESUS CHRIST, WE MUST NOT BE UNPREPARED. MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON US.
BE PART OF THE GREAT COMMISSION OF JESUS CHRIST. WIN A SOUL AND WIN MORE SOULS; MAKE A DISCIPLE AND MAKE DISCIPLES. THE REWARD IS EVERLASTING LIFE WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU. IF YOU HAVE NOT GIVEN YOUR LIFE TO JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR; IF YOU ARE STILL BLINDED BY FALSE RELIGIONS AND PROPHETS; THIS IS A CALL TO RUN FROM PERDITION, FROM DECEPTION FOR THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE THAN JESUS CHRIST.
TOMORROW MAY BE TOO LATE !

TRANSFORMATION

GENESIS 45:3-5

3. Joseph said to his brothers, ” I am Joseph ! Is my father still living ?” But his brothers were not able to answer him, because they were terrified at his presence.
4. Then Joseph said to his brothers, “come close to me”. When they had done so, he said, “I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt !
5. And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you”. ( NIV ).
6. The brothers of Joseph could not recognize him. The splendours around Joseph surpassed the imaginations of his brothers; ‘their’ Joseph was supposedly languishing in slavery or even dead. They had earlier bowed before ‘ this’ man and ‘this’ man could not be Joseph. In fact, they had sold Joseph into a life of misery and penury to forestall obeisance to him, so ‘this’ man, this great ruler, could not possibly be ‘their’ Joseph !
   But, it was ‘their’ Joseph and they had bowed before him. They had failed to stop Joseph from fulfilling his destiny. Their wicked deeds notwithstanding, the God of Joseph had fought for him and uplifted him above his enemies.
   I declare to you this day that surely as the Lord lives, your detractors will marvel at your great transformation from nobody to celebrity when God has perfected the awesome work of your uplifting and fulfilment, in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
   Joseph had to repeat his introduction of himself, ” I am Joseph…” because the brothers were so terrified at his presence that they had become ‘deaf ‘.
   I declare to you this day that God is about to elevate your status in a bewildering manner that will terrify your persecutors, in Jesus Christ’s name.
   To crown the humiliating experience of his brothers, Joseph refused to apportion any blame to them despite their deeds of wickedness. Joseph saw the brothers’ act as the act of God to make him a preserver of lives. He saw his brothers as vessels of God’s plans for the fulfilment of his destiny: the brothers meant it for destruction of Joseph but God planned it for his elevation.
   I stand on the Word of God and by the unction of the Holy Spirit that God will turn the diabolical devices of your detractors into ladders of elevation for you, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
   Beloved, I see you celebrating. I see others rejoicing with you. I see your unrepentant foes wailing. I see laughter replacing tears of sorrow, and I see you Divinely uplifted from nobody to somebody, in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

*** Cleave to Jesus Christ, get abundant life; Seek the Kingdom of God, get every other things;
Joseph refused to sin against God by fornicating: aspire to lead a life of holiness.
Win souls for God’s Kingdom, get fulfilment;
We’re pilgrims on earth, strive after everlasting life with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Trust God, stay Godly , be triumphant.

STORMS

TEXT: ISAIAH 25:4-5

“4. You have been a place of safety for the poor and needy in times of trouble. Brutal enemies pounded us like a heavy rain or the heat of the sun at noon, but you were our shelter.

5. Those wild foreigners struck like scorching desert heat. But you were like a cloud, protecting us from the sun. You kept our enemies from singing songs of victory. “
   (CEV).

HYMNAL :

The Lord’s our Rock, in Him we hide :
A shelter in the time of storm !
Secure whatever ill betide :
A shelter in the time of storm !
Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land !
A weary land, a weary land :
Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land,
A shelter in the time of storm !

A storm symbolizes problems, difficulties, strength and weakness. A storm can be defined as a violent wind ; a tempest, usually accompanied by rain or snow. A storm may be likened to a violent disturbance of public peace. A storm may describe a violent assault on a stronghold. A storm epitomizes adversity, calamity.
Storms can be physical or spiritual. Whether physical or spiritual, storms bring a lot of trepidation, anxieties, pains and sorrow. Storms afflict. While the physical storm may not persist for long, the spiritual storm takes a longer period to abate or cease. In both cases of storms, the Holy Bible, the authentic Word of God , has given adequate guidance on how to wage the battle of Storms triumphantly.
In the first place , the Bible makes it clear that storms will arise, whether we like it or not. In other words, we must prepare for storms ! During a storm it is natural to panic but if we had expected it and made preparations against it, we would be less panicky when confronted.
In the face of storms, we must arm ourselves with the shield of faith as we look at Jesus Christ and trust Him to calm the raging storms.
We must be full of gratitude to God with the faith that understands that the storms are not meant to destroy us but to refine us and draw us closer to the Omnipotent God for though storms appear potent, they are not omnipotent !
We must understand that God is and can never be powerless before any storm confronting us, physical or spiritual, and if that be the case, why then can we entertain any fears or anxieties when He has assured us of safety ? The storm is under God’s control and God is our sufficiency.
The Word of God, the Bible has taught us the power of the tongue. God has assured us that whatever we decree according to His will He will establish it. We know that it is His will for us to live in peace and we also know He honours His word faithfully, therefore it is pertinent for us to speak to the storm to be calm ; to declare to the threatening storm to cease ; and to decree life instead of the impeding doom. Yes, tell the storm to dissolve, in Jesus Christ’s name !
