MESSAGE FROM THE ALTAR. DEVOTIONAL SERVICE. 07 / 11 / 2021..

VANITY
LUKE 12 : 16 – 21.

  1. Then Jesus told them this parable: ” There was once a rich man who had lands which bore good crops.
  2. He began to think to himself, ‘I haven’t anywhere to keep all my crops. What can I do ?
  3. This I will do, he told himself; ‘I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, where I will store my corn and all my other goods.
  4. Then, I will say to myself, Lucky man ! You have all the good things you need for many years. Take life easy, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself !
  5. But God said to him, ‘You fool ! This very night you will have to give up your life; then who will get all these things you have kept for yourself ?’ “
  6. And Jesus concluded, “This is how it is with those who pile up riches for themselves but are not rich in God’s sight.”

ECCLESIASTES 3 :16
In addition, I have also noticed that in this world you find wickedness where justice and right ought to .

ECCLESIASTES 4 : 2 – 3

  1. I envy those who are dead and gone; they are better off than those who are still alive.
  2. But better off than either are those who have never been born, who have never seen the injustice that goes on in this world.

ECCLESIASTES 5 : 15
WE LEAVE THIS WORLD JUST AS WE ENTERED IT — WITH NOTHING. INSPITE OF ALL OUR WORK THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN TAKE WITH US.
(GOOD NEWS BIBLE).

God has sent me to you this day and the message is devoid of ambiguity. God has commissioned me to reach out to you to remember that you are a sojourner on earth; that you were fashioned from the dust and His Spirit; that you are dust and to dust you will return but your soul will return to the Judgement Seat where at the end of your pilgrimage you will give account of your deeds while on earth; that you will receive righteous Judgement according to your actions or inactions; that you came to this world empty and you will leave empty no matter your opulence or power, hence the need to meditate on your attitude towards God and man, examining yourself whether you are commendable in God’s sight or not; that you must repent of all unGodly acts, surrender your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of mankind and be led by the Holy Spirit in order to be strengthed for the battle between the spirit and the flesh; and that the second advent of Jesus Christ draws near, very near.
We must not be like the ” Rich Fool” who got consumed with passion for enjoyment on earth but failed to prepare for eventual exit, the timing of which nobody knows.
We must not be caught off guard when the trumpets for homecoming sound.
We must not win this miserable world of strive and pain at the detriment of eternal bliss in God’s Kingdom.
The world will surely experience more turmoil and there will be terrifying spectacles that will continue to benumb man till the wrapping up of this decaying world.
There is certainly no hiding place where safety from satanic onslaughts is ensured except in Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, the Captain of our battle, the Saviour.
COME TO JESUS CHRIST NOW AND FIND REST. AMEN.
